To love you madly
is damn right scary
this adult thing we do
can take so much out of you

Our days are more peaceful
then I remember
but I think of the days without
you in them

To love you madly
is downright scary
I give you all I am
before I go crazy
====
I never want you to forget
that I loved you madly
from the first day we met
you stood at my door like a lonely lost pet
====
We talked again like on the phone for hours
we played many games of Scrabble
saw a movie or two
I really liked being with you
===
Being as honest as you were
brought me to my knees for sure
everyone should meet like we did
your honesty was refreshingly splendid
====
Now! I love you and your children madly
to be without you all would be a little scary
life is never certain as we should assert some much needed action
before our spirit becomes completely broken.
===
This true warrior has bravely spoken.
