A 'Good' Poet

This is what "I" think...

A poet will write
what's not in others unexplained sights

A poet defines
what's not on other peoples mind
~~~~
A poet can relate
what others don't know how to create
~~~~
A poet can give a sense of arousal
raising that little known red devil
~~~~
A poet will bring to life
what others feel in their struggles through utter strife
~~~~
A poet will make real
the true passionate eternal love that you can feel
~~~~
A poet can use outrageous words
that's not in others brainy minds of standards
~~~~
A poet can feel what some can not express
many actually don't write to impress
~~~~
A poet loves to write
it's an end to an ends of what we truly like
~~~~
A poet loves what she or he does easily
even if it leaves our souls quest feeling somewhat queasy
~~~~
A writer will lift you to the stars with their deep words of thought
this is what I found as I was naturally taught
~~~~
A poet can bring you on a spiritual religious journey
that can bring you to your knees quite clearly
~~~~
A poet will write
A poet will inspire
A poet will instill hope and faith
A poet will make you think even harder
~~~~
A poet can write till there is no end
finding away under the brightest star they must defend
~~~~
A poetry writer won't stop
till they reach the very top or their minds suddenly pop
~~~~
A poet can define a simple blade of grass as it gives this tangible item purity and class
~~~~
A poet can be historical, modern or futuristic
as expressive thoughts just lie dormant
~~~~
The bottom line is
a poet will transfer poetry-thought to their eternal day.
