True Friendship

You own apart of my heart
you have from the very start
being with you gives me joy
I'm glad you were not a boy
~~~~
If you only knew how I truly feel
than you would know my feelings are for real
the more I become honest with you
the more of me comes shining through
~~~~
You still have no idea of what you have done
you have moved the clouds and brought the sun
I know that what we share is personal and true
the more I listen to you
~~
My heart beats even faster
when I see you at my door
the fun we have I simply adore
no one could say we are a bore
~~
No one I know, that's for sure...
~
We share, we laugh
we cry
I don't know why
but, God brought us together and I will not pry
~~~
Time will tell
how long this friendship will last
I hope it's stronger
than my friendships of the past.

Wonderful write to a friend who obviously means so much to you, Yes we can never predetermine how long a friendship will last but over time real friends prove themselves without even realizing it.

My spirit sister, I know all too well of this friendship. I love you more than a "real sister!" You are a special soul mate to me, Shee, and each and everyday our friendship grows fonder. I am so glad that we met. Thank you for your kindness, understanding and your wonderful humor, you are truly one of kind.
