Wondrful words, so many ways to look at them. Come ride my rainbow

WORD GAMES

Come and play with me

you bring your words and I’ll bring mine.

We’ll borrow some and steal others -

Gather them

Crumple them up

 roll them into balls

Throw them into the air

Knead them like putty

make them smooth and round

paint them primary colours

Take aim, tap them with a cue

pocket them on a billiard table

Come and play with me

we’ll build a web to catch words.

Instead of injecting them with poison

to cause harm

we’ll inject them with magic

and they can fly with us

laugh with us and ride our rainbow.

Hello.Thank you for reviewing my poem.Words are often a game , a struggle to reach the desired "meaning": listen carefully to the pith of their "magic" and play with them till the sounds create harmony..A poem is an invitation to be tickled ..lovely poem.
