In the square in front of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, floodlights cast the shadows of an acrobatic gaggle of skaters and a solitary guitarist. I was struck by the serenity in the midst of so much commotion.(If you like the language, find more in the prose of my novel, Hidden Impact)

In this place this perfect moment
Our best instincts are alchemy,
Creating unspoken collaboration
Out of clashing desires.
Crowds swirl without menace.
Spaces bump without collision.
Skaters skitter at \round a guitar player,
Yheir wild girations an abbligato
To Bach's logical beauty,
Bathed in brightness
Before the benign towers.
In this place this perfect moment.
