I wrote this one for a friend who lost her Mother to cancer on Monday, July 11, 2005.

GK, this one is for you and your family, my love ... My prayers are with you. Be strong.

You have finally left us
For a long time you fought it
You fought the pain
You fought leaving us
You fought it all for us
Finally you have arrived
To the place where angels sing
Where gardens are forever green
Where birds are always chirping
Where the gates are also opened
Where the road is paved with gold
With no potholes or pebbles
Where love and laughter flows like in a river
Where every smile oozes with relieved content
Where nobody ever cries
Where nobody ever hurts
Should I cry, should I smile?
So many confusing questions
So many confusing emotions
Never to hear your sweet voice
Singing your grandchildren a sweet lullaby
Never to feel your loving arms
Encircling us always with such love
Never to taste your unconditional love
Cooked in the afternoon Sunday lunches
Never to hear your warm wise words
Guiding us, teaching us, supporting us
But I will smile
For finally you are in loving arms
The arms that for twenty years have been waiting
Finally you are with Daddy again

Sandra I have used this for a friend who lost a relative on the ship that sank in South Africa last week. This is exactly what one needs when you don't know what to say. I really gain something out of each of your person and they contribute towards my spiritual growth ina big way. I'm telling you this now, not on a wreath card LOL.You have motivated me. You make a difference!
