You know it donít you
There is no escape,
No island sunk deep enough
Each shell carryís the song along the oceanís floor
Immersed in serenade the senses return to the beginning
The time of one
The equinox of drifting souls

No matter how far arms are stretched,
fingers still touch the forbidden,
entering into shadow,
bringing light  of sensation

Chords fire in unison granting permission
to what has been denounced or denied
The horizon melts into hues of saturated daydreams

Swept by the undertow
guided by unconscious want
the taste lingers on

Presupposition may be argued
saying I am on one side of a wall
and that bricks have been put in place
but to me the wall is made of sand
and every now and then
I let the shells play their song

"Whispers In The Wind" is spiritually uplifting! You have a brilliant mind, dear Ed, yet you share it in a way that it is not harmful for us to stare at the sun. Yes, let the shells play their song and let those who have ears listen!

Love & Light always and in all ways,

Ed the longer you write, the more stunning your work becomes. This is exceptional poetry. "Islands in the stream, that is what we are"

A philosophic-poetic BLOW-bang in "Whispers In The Wind" storms up imagination and ontologic answers.

The picture you chose for your poem looks like two islands reaching out to each other, the poem also speaks to me of reaching, yearning, yet making the best of a situation at hand, the words here are lovely

A place where it never ends and always will be. Where souls meet and are shadowed let the shells play their song again Ed. A beautiful and meaningful poem... So much depth in this one for me to read thank you,
