I promised I wouldn’t do what I am doing
But something new just got me brewing
A pirate can bury a treasure never to be found
Ten paces north and way under ground

A dog can dig deep to hide a precious bone
A bank can lock its doors to giving a loan
But some precious treasures cannot be hid
Or forgotten still, that which was forbid

Even through times of shadow and doubt
Where a heart suffered a tremendous drought
One thing remains always true
There will never be another You

You are the rose preserved in a book
Taken out frequently to have a look
The unfolded pages letting out a hint of the scent
Of intimacies shared and moments spent

And in this revelry of thought and muse
All passions once again light the fuse
It reminds of what and why I refuse
To forget the colors in all their hues

I have remained only to you
Anything else just wouldn’t do

I hope this little outburst hasn’t done harm
But I couldn’t resist the New Digital Charm
