Patriotism (haikus)

Whatever your views... the political name calling is getting exhausting out there.

Patriotism
does not delight in slander
nor blind loyalty

It fears no discourse
Born amongst loving children
Nor favors boiled blood

Its voice rings loudest
In the silent unity
Between our clasped hands.

See my "If". Well put. I uusally honor the original Pledge of Allegiance. Hoever, if you ar e going to stad there and expect me to believe tht you actually think ANYOne will believe that ANYone can EVER out DO ANY qat at ANY thing(oh great god bubastis forgive her)... well, then you ust also be abe to out-argue a parakeet, too. (See my "Never...". Shortly I will post "Boots Bequest" as another self sufficient riposte to your above deliberately felinely lousily felonious libelously provocative self apparent false on its face slanderously declamatory comment against the good Pneumos, Logos, and Faith of Qat. For shame! Pixel hiseth at thee).

.... Besides, if it's rekindled, it was never a fetish in the first place ...

(BTW, you're good!) [pretty, too]. {...hmmm... does tha timply you're pretty good, too? Gotta think on that. See my "Russell's ...."

Just love your biography, Melissa, and thank you for your visit to my pages recently! This is weighty work expressed in so few lines, speaking of an age-old sagacity that needs to be heard afresh and aloud in our life and times: your phrasing enables it to be so. It speaks somewhat like the Biblical description of Love in 1 Corinthians 13 and seems almost both a rebuke and an exhortation. Your voice is both authoritative and compassionate. Very well done. Thank you, Kate x
