Unrequited love

Bottled Promises

I promise

Two words spoken

One heart broken

But theyíre silent birds

Those empty words . . .

Rents I canít mend

Cash that wonít spend

Unrequited love

Closed doors, endless wars

Freeze me to the core

A hostile friend, pain without end

A thirst I just canít quench

Two words, time and again

In a game Iíll never win

Bottled Promises

Dearest Sandy
Thankfully these experiences make us stronger and lead us closer to that one true love whom we crave deeply in our hearts. In hindsight, when we find the love we've been loving all along, we will thank any unrequited loves for helping us find our true soulmate that much quicker. If its deep in your heart then so it will be!
Lots of love to you Sandy

Maybe we're not meant to win at the game. Maybe the best we can hope for is to have some chances to play. Love can be as cruel as it is beautiful and although we are all very similar,in many ways we differ. Our only saving grace is the fact that we are constantly changing, at times that draws us closer together, yet it can also push us further apart. Life and love should'nt be so complicated.

Excellent, Pierre.

I really like this. Sometimes that bottle gets lost, floating on the sea, eh?
