Enjoying the WWE Friday Nights Smack-Down brought this on..."TV that's changing Friday nights" (Teddy Long)

Friday Night Smack-Down

Friday night Smack-Down Wrestling in town

Teddy Long is the General Manager and Teddy

Don’t mess around…

With his off-the-hook eccentric walk

And his hyper smooth no-nonsense talk

Rey Mysterio is the World Heavyweight Champ

Booker T. crowned King of the Ring,

Miss Black America is his yelling Queen,

Sharmel got for "Her Man" lots of steam

That bull gave me a cramp

Bobby Leashly he’s bad and the US Champ

Well deserved, but he suffered a beat-down

From Steven Regals regime, that boy reminds me of a drag queen

He’s from England and they do have queens, not trying to be mean,

But as he so boldly speaks,

He’s a lord, and he hails the words "King Booker" with ease

UK, Kings, Lords, maybe Regals a hooker… Maybe even Booker

Well until we speak again, I hope you enjoyed this time with me

All you fans of the WWE…

Oh, lets not for get the Divas of the WWE

Cute as can be, I think all you would all agree!

Tough and nimble, graceful and sweet

When it gets boring, they turn up the heat!

I'm not a wrestling fan (or boxing either since it too became a sideshow), but I like you poem. You went down the list and did them up right.

It's amazing what sells wrestling now-a-days.

I remember the days when they wrestled in television studios, maybe 30 or 40 in the crowd, real rowdy, and the women were ugly, and the combatants were all fat, meaner than shit, and there was lot of blood.

Those were the good old days!

My favorite wrestler back then was Dusty Rhodes. That bionic elbow killed me.

Thanks for this

Birgit and Roger,

I used to watch "wrasslin'," don't get much of a chance anymore. I watched when the Von Ericks and Iceman King Parsons were THE hot wrestlers...they don't make 'em like that anymore. Oh, and Hulk Hogan. :) Well done!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
