Some endings can not be understood, even when the meaning is clear, thats love.

Why would you?

Why would you reach out and hurt me for loving you?
I did nothing to you but give my heart because you wanted me too!
Why would you treat me so mean, to drive me away and leave me hurt inside?
Why would you hurt yourself in my name and scar my heart with that memory?

To make me wonder if I had done something wrong?
To make me fear it was I that was killing you.
To turn my love into something ugly and afraid to feel it.
Why would you?

Why would you reject my love to stay with someone who you do not love?
What is it that binds you to this person and makes you hurt the one you really love?
Why would you waste your life living a lie?
What makes you hurt yourself to live this lie?

What does it mean, to look across the room and try and act like we do not care?
Why do we sit and stare, yearning to touch but not looking here.
Why do we hide the love we feel so no one can see it?
What makes two lovers, so in love try to end?

Why would our friends try to keep us apart?
Why are we the only ones hurt from parting?
Why would they want you to stay living a lie?
Why would they not want us to be happy?

Why would you turn away from your heart and the beauty it felt?
How can you watch as your lover slips away into the arms of another?
Why would you ever want to lose me?
Why is it I think of you when another kisses me?

What makes you think you can just throw us away?
Do you really think you will not feel a lose and wonder forever?
Do you think that someone else will just replace what we felt?
I know we can love others for them and it is that, that will end us, why?

Why do we do this to us?
Why won’t this thing we felt leave?
Why do I still cry?
How can we ever have a life together?

How can I free myself from you and why would I want too?
Why do you and me ask these questions?
Why would you?
Why?
