There have been moments when you have finished my sentences, and on occasion completed my thoughts ....
But recently more often than not ... these are also thoughts I have of you Stacy

I'm so glad God made you. It is amazing that in his absolute perfection and power, he choose to intentionally and purposely create you. That he specifically considered and planned for your existence. That he decided all you are ... and all you would and can be.
Delegating those eyes to be yours, those lips to be yours, your voice, your hair, your complexion, your mind, your personality, your hands, feet, and what the height and breadth of you would be Ö and in all that he decided, he determined that it should be, just as it is.
I ponder each curve and measure in the exactness that it exists Ö I am ecstatic that this is you. I celebrate his vision of you and confirm it is complete.
And in witnessing all he has done in the realization of you... I am amazed, and so pleased in all you are. I thank God for you. If I were to speak as completely as God allows and permits me to. I might say .....

I might have practiced war
Except you called my name
I would declare
A broken heart
If not
Your love remained

I'd stand upon the mountains
To seek the face of God
To speak of how
You kissed my lips
And how it
Saved my heart

No wicked games
Of chasing lighting
No screams
Against the wind
While you have
Taught me gentler things
And soothed
My soul with tears

Fate had named me fool
But you
Have thought me wise
Men have ruled
Against my favor
While you
Have said
They lied

Your joy
Is my treasure
Your name
Must be divine
Each kiss you give
Will grant me this Ö
Sweet memories
Upon my mind

And time
Becomes the enemy
I beg and still refuse
To count the nights
To number days
While time
Would be so cruel

Forever would be
Too late
Too soon
To say goodbye
Iíll hold you close
A thousand times
And pray that
You are mine

Yes I might
Have practiced war
Except you
Called my name
I cannot declare
A broken heart
Because Ö
Your love remains

I know I have
A witness
My soul is not denied
If you believe
Me worthy
If will say
Youíre mine
