Ruminating Rumi. He said love turns copper to gold. He said the most secure place to hide a treasure of gold is in some desolate unnoticed place. Why would anyone hide treasure in plain sight? And so it is said, "Joy is hidden beneath sorrow."

A Thousand Pieces of Gold

cracked the code
of dogma's demise
alchemical intelligence
the mind's luster brilliant
with community intend

lucrative dreams
a thousand pieces of gold
hidden from minatory predators
milltail splashing the current of
water from the mill wheel

pneumatic mural
where everything flies
and nothing is bound
where rebellion defies
religious dogma

silver melting spoons
rise above the flame
pouring out the poltroons
coward impurities assayed
into spiritual beads of rosary

temblors shake consciousness
tabu pillars crumble
recalcitrant we are privileged
non-tacit with no inclination
to be silent

brass cow bells
tinkle calling etheric
oxen to the milking gods
filling the silver pail in
cosmic litres

litmus papers testing
deception's acid
blue dyed ascension
rising on a magic carpet
rich with a thousand pieces of gold

Woah, what about that Tracheotomy fiasco, Sage.

Sorry if I appeared to be a tad testy.

I don't know how that happened, Sage... I apologize for seemingly putting the blame on you... wait a minute, I did... I did put the blame on you. Don't you just hate it when people do that ;) Anyway, I still haven't received word as to how my name got put on your poem, while my own poem disappeared entirely, or an assurance that it wouldn't happen again, so here's hoping for small miracles. As long as that doesn't qualify me for brain rot or a trach-tube. Colour me faithful, but there aren't that many geniuses more stupid than me around. Stay sharp, sage. The only thing worse than a single doc is a paradox.

Love ta love ya, woman.

Sage, your poetry is of such a high standard! unfortunately' the 'awful ghastly' organ sound, spoils the whole thing!!
I had a website myself where music downloads that sounded like this were available..I dropped them fast. Maybe upload some of your own?
but please dont get upset about this point. Your poem is spot on perfect.
