My daughter Kalyn wrote this poem as well, enjoy.

Gentle minds,
Gentle feelings,
Harsh emotions.
Deceit and hatred spread among our kind.
Seeps into soil and strikes anyone who sinks under its grasp.
Greedy, foul fools!
What have we become of?
Things were not meant to be this way.
The way we live, talk, and fight amongst ourselves.
No feelings of way of living is considered,
and the thought of consequences are left behind.
Were so selfish.
Why cant we care about something else than our own self absorbed problems
"Everyone Else's problems are always bigger then your own" Ive been told this phrase many times.
It shouldn't be that way.
Were supposed to be a loving caring community that thrive upon reactions to actions.
Correct me if I'm wrong but our world is truly corrupted in a way that's unmanageable and unfixable.
Dig deep down,
into the minds of people,
our president,
and own government.
With all the war, hatred, self pity, and just the greedy nature of our race,
We are slowly destroying ourselves.
