Written in OCT 1990 while I was stationed overseas in Germany. Can you tell I was a little homesick?

Spring comes every year
It’s time to be happy
A time for cheer.

Summer’s here –
Everyone’s alive!
Everyone’s on the ride!

And slowly…the chilly air creeps in.
And slowly…the leaves change.
And slowly…the harvest moon rises in the sky.
As Autumn Falls Again.

Remember the warm sun and wet sand?
Autumn Falls…
Remember the fresh lilacs and bright sky?
Autumn Falls…
A couple’s wedding on a bright summer day?
Autumn Falls Again.

April showers and budding flowers…
Means nothing at all
May smiles and happy faces…
No, nothing at all
June sunshine and summer fun…
Nothing at all

When September rolls around
And Autumn Falls Again.
Yes, Autumn Falls Again.
