Rose Colored Touch of You

I cannot explain
this fantasy of mine
it is of you
(of course you would be so true )

I am trying to live on a higher, spirtual plane
yet you remain in my thoughts
(you are always searching my soul)

You come creeping
(unbeknownst to innocent you)
into my fragile heart
giving me a thrill
of joy
each time we meet.

Your scent I do not know
but your intensity draws me so
My mind travels
to a scene
where your hands remain
on mine
fingers entwined
(you drum a tune on my arm)

Your lips searching mine
(Your lips so soft but firm)
growing ever so close
but the most
I can ever hope for
that these visions of mine
these visions of you
may someday come true
or not.

My heart next to yours
I know it will beat fast
I yearn to know the you
what I have learned is all long distance.

Growing closer
though faraway we remain
but I claim
you for me
my selfish desires
(OH, what would you say if you knew?)

You are indeed mine
in my soft, pure rose tinged fantasy
of friendship and love.

Shoulders close
hips joined next to each other
I would never tremble (too much)
at your caressing touch.

When we do finally meet
I will put these girlish whims
behind me
so you will not see
and greet you with a hug
and meet you as you are
Oh, why must you live so far?

Oh Merideth, this is a wonderful poem sharing your innermost thoughts and feelings. Dreams, images, fantasies are all wonderful things and keep our simple lifes enjoyable, we should learn to embrace them not feel guilty about them. Whoever this is written to perhaps you should make your feelings known, the worst that could happen is you might have a little embarrassmennt and he might be flattered that you think so much about him even though he may not be free to close the miles between. Regardless agreat write.

This is very deep-real and heart felt of a distant love as I do reall have and one that can be so painful. The desires and dreams are so intense as if you can taste it.
