True love with a twist.

True Love

My love for you is very strong,
Unfortunately something always goes wrong.
The night was black as midnight,
You have only just begun to fight.
Your black cape blowing in the wind,
but have you yet sinned!
Slowly your fangs protruded out.
You looked in the mirror and let out a shout!
What is happening to me? you say,
then suddenly you flew away.
Out of the window into the cold air,
you've landed, but where?
Your nose sniffs like crazy,
the scent you smell becomes hazy.
You find yourself lurking in the dark,
but do you bear the mark?
You felt something warm and wet,
two holes embe dded in your neck.
You're hungry, but your craving unclear
the taste is coming near.
You lunged forward and penetrate,
the taste of blood Mmm.. is great.
You looked at the body at your feet,
the villagers are down the street.
You turned and started to flee,
come along and follow me
you hear, you turned around to see
Who is it? Why it's me.
I took you up to my room,
This is where you shall expect your doom.
I love you I say to you
for it is I, the friend you knew.
You asked what's happening why the change,
why do you feel so strange.
You were a vampire I said,
Now I must kill you dead.
You looked at me full of fear,
and in your eye a single tear.
You opened your mouth ready to strike,
instead you felt a metal spike.
I'm sorry I say I love you so,
but you can't kill so you must go.
A final kiss before you turn to dust,
this of course is a must.
A kiss our lips did take,
as I gently pulled out the stake.
Thanks, you say I love you too,
We'll meet again so don't be blue.
I step away and hear you call,
"forgive me please" and you fall.
Down to floor you burn ablaze.
I will remember you always.
Something always goes wrong,
Our love was once very strong.
