I used to LOVE to watch the Olympics. It had a special place in my heart.

But with drug taking cheaters and sarcastic tweeters the games got off to a very bad start.

We used to be united and watch ONE special channel. We knew the announcer for the games.

We knew the music and huddled close and cheered for our country. But the climate just is not the same.

So I watch on computer, on my I phone and on the T.V. as well; but I can’t find one hero to admire.

For the mix of the politics, drugs, and the change without hope, put OUT that Olympic fire.

So I’m sorry if I sound a bit negative because I am usually an optimistic man.

But I can’t find a Hero on earth.

So I LOOK UP to Jesus.

He’s our only HOPE, our HERO.

He IS the GREAT, I AM.

AMEN!
