Something to think about. God Bless. Luke
PLEASE DONíT CRY FOR ME
I passed away a week ago
And find it hard to let go.
Oh, I truly love you so
Time to go but I say no .
Still so much left to do
Still need to hug a few
More to tell, ďI love youĒ
This all to me is so new.
On to Heaven , a special trip
Forgive me God if I seem flip
Some one made an awful slip
This time to go I have to skip.
Thereís my wife she needs me so
To help my brother , I have to go
My daughters wedding , I canít miss
Just let me have that final kiss .
Donít cry for me , itís not that bad
For I have been a joyful Dad .
With in your love Iíve been so glad
Just didnít realize this would be so sad .
Itís just so hard to understand
I was always the helping hand .
Who will be there to help them through ?
Oh forgive me Lord , I know , itís YOU.

This is so very beautiful. You have captured the darkness of death and turned it into sweet sorrow. Keep writing, your words inspire me.

|This was so sad for me in the beginning but the ending brought a sense of relief because God is always there and may not be there right when you need him but always on time.|

|Definitly thought provoking. We all have those thoughts, of those we leave behind, one day, so alone, so sad and sometimes terrified. A very good write.

|"Something to think about"...indeed!
Is anyone ever truly ready to let go of this life?
This piece should make some stop & think. Thank you!
