how odd.
i know someone with your name [Larry Matthews... not sure about the D though...]
anyways...
i like the allusion to cain and abel 'am i my brothers keeper' and the way you have changed it and rearranged it to show us how it SHOULD be. that is really well done.
i like the way you have written this.
you are not negligent of the fact that your brother is not who you know him to be but you do not say that he is not who he is. if that makes any sense.
sure he cannot talk, eat, interact like he used to but he is still your brother and his counrage and strength are still fierce and all those traits that you remember being outworked still remain within him.
and while some days he may not look like your brother physically i think this is a brilliant tribute to the brother you know him to be and also to your mother who clearly taught you boys how to look after eachother.
beautiful. |

Wow, what a tribute to your brother. You have a closeness few really know or will take the time to appreciate. What a blessing you are to him as he is to you.
God Bless,

| Larry, I can so relate to your writing...it touched my heart and I relieved a few moments with my brother. This is such a wonderful tribute to your brother and I'm sure he knows in his heart how much you love and care for him. I'll keep the two of you in my prayers and know you'll get a certain peace and comfort during your day. God Bless You. |
