I miss my brothers

Through The Tears

Through the tears

I see the memories

Of the happy years

The joyful memories.

Through the tears

I hear the laughter

A time of no fears

Nothing seemed to matter.

Through the tears

I hear their voices

Memories my heart wears

Arguing about our choices.

Our lives road ahead

All our dreams to live

Never thought about the dead

We all had so much to give.

Now my brothers are both gone

No more their voices do I hear

But I still have to move along

And in quiet moments shed a tear.

Through the tears

I must live my life

Carry the memories of the years

Over coming death’s awful knife.

Through the tears

God has carried my load

Always there through the years

Helping again along life’s road.

Thank you Lord

I have read "Through the Tears"... Outstanding poetic expression of ontological and spiritual poemization.

I salute You, Poet.

Such a sad write with much heart and soul within...your write comes at a time in my life that helps me to count my blessings, for I have suffered a loss this week that has pained my heart...but I am blessed to still have my family. Very well written, very touching, and yes God does help carry the load and ease the pain and suffering.
