A Taste of The South (New Orleans)

I stroll through my mind to a place that I’ve been
My senses all longing to go there again
Lovers on the lawn at green Jackson Square
Melt into the music that flows through the air

Café and beignets made fresh to order
The sights and the sounds of the old French Quarter
Buildings that seem to harbor old souls
They sing and they cry, come they cajole

Entranced by the thought, the wind makes me shiver
As the boats roll along down that deep muddy river
Still on my tongue the taste of pralines
Take me back, take me back to New Orleans

Janna, I guess I missed this one, but I'm glad I stumbled across it. I like this structure, although I never attempt it myself. Great job. Thanks Dick.
