Sometimes written words from a loved one can make you feel that they are actually with you.

Imagine my poems are me, always with you,
A collection of my feelings, even when I'm blue,
Read them knowing they come from my heart,
Always reflecting on us never being apart.

Imagine that we are now husband and wife,
Together, forever, for the rest of our life
We would have no reasons for ever being alone
Together, forever in our own beautiful home.

Imagine this home was just by the beach,
The walks in the sand always in our reach.
Every night we would walk hand in hand
Just us, the waves, the stars and the sand.

Imagine the times where we just hug and talk,
Sometimes saying nothing as we take our walk.
A lot of things can be said without being heard,
Feelings and thoughts, expressed without words.

Imagine growing old together, love never ending,
Today’s thoughts and feelings never pending.
I can, and I do, imagine all of these things,
With you, I could handle all that life brings.

Imagine my poems are me, always with you.

There is abundant testimony that if we choose love rather than self, we gain immeasurably. ~ Federico Fellini
