The Lost Son

Inside every man is a father hidden by the myth that men don't cry and it is left to the mothers the illusion that they are the only ones that really care.
The myth also said that men were the providers, the stronger ones, the life warriors that children will lean on and take as a roll-model of what they were supposed to be when becoming grownups.
Then it came the right of the mother to have or have not, to cut short the symbiosis of mother-child without a thought to the pain of the father.
And then...there was the soldiers coming home in 1965 and found an empty womb...

Please, hear the accompany music to its bitter end, it is the story about a dead son.

Inside the shadows that are wrapping my sorrows
I know that somewhere is waiting your little soul
for the father that could not reach his son in time
to stop cruel hands that were cutting your life off,
those hands not only pulled the heart from my chest
leaving no able to be filled deep in me a bitter hole.

The rage have tinted my eyes with hues of revenge,
cannot see, you left behind a world covered in blood
and a cold silence, sharper than the steel scalpel
that suddenly one day for no reason cut my voice
so when calling, I couldn’t pronounce your name
because I was so late one day returning from a war.

They tell, “hate will consume you, eat from inside,”
but maybe hate kept me from opening the final door
which denies the all Almighty God of His will…
as He negated the will of a humble powerless father
that was left inside the heavy shadows of sorrows,
because he arrived on day, to late to save his son.

This story rips at the heart of a loving father who cannot imagine what that would or could have been like. Even giving up my child to a mother's custody and becoming a part time father although difficult was bareable but to have a child taken from ones life and one's heart forever is a pain that I cannpt imagine. Powerful and heartbreaking write my good friend.

I have heard it said many times that we are eternal and are merely having a human experience. Your child is alive in the eternal world and he has a name by which he is called by the Almighty God. He is waiting for you to surrender to God's will so that you will be together again. You can be his father again one day. Faith the size of a grain of mustard seed is all that it takes. But I hear your pain and my heart goes out to you Georg. Love and hugs, and prayers, J'nia

GEORG; I COULDN'T HEAR THE MUSIC ON THE SITE SO, I WENT TO UTUBE AND HEARD IT. IT IS ONE DYNAMIC WORK...I PLAYED IT OVER AND OVER AND IT INSPIRED ME TO WRITE A WORK TODAY ENTITLED, 'THE ROAD...TO HIM' WHICH IS ACTUALLY THE STORY BEHIND A POEM I WROTE 2 1/2 YEARS AGO. I PRAY GOD GRANT YOU THE WILLINGNESS TO ACCEPT THE 'TREASURE' OF FORGIVENESS SO THAT THE PAIN IN YOUR HEART WILL STOP AND THE FEELINGS OF HATE WILL CEASE. READ THE STORY GEORG...IF I CAN FORGIVE...SO CAN YOU. GOD BLESS AND THANKS FOR SHARING.

Powerful write and I know many a father has felt that. They are unsung fathers that most never hear about. Those that wanted their child yet didn't have a say at all. It's the only hard side of the women's right to chose. That I would not take away from any women at those times when they didn't really know whether the father would come home, marry her if he did, or accept (as many women I know did go through) that is was really his. DNA and paternity wasn't as good and easy as it is now. Again a powerful write. The music I down loaded but will not open because of the rights issue attached. Can you copy and send an mp3. I'd love to hear it. LadyJ
