Four lines about Memorial Day

The older soldiers, those called War Veterans, bless Memorial Day as every year hours of remembrance for those that shouldn't never be forgotten, because, their last breath are the wind that keeps our flag alive...

Memorial Day

Arlington is the place filled with Americans good hearts.
Taps for all the buddies out there than never came back.
Holy Holy Hallelujah, the truth will march the soldiers on.
Remember everyone of them soldiers when raising your flag.

Semper Fi

So sad that one of our Transatlantic Vets died while attending the big "Celebration" at Dunkirk on Friday... guess his heart just couldn't stand the strain, nor the pain. So bittersweet the ones to have been left behind. I guess you are haunted by this gut-wrenching dichotomy all the days of your life, as well as all else that living through active service leaves you with. It rips me to shreds to see the pictures of the young maimed returned and whose faces are streaming with tears as they partake of march-pasts for their fallen comrades. It certainly brings it on home to those of us who just cannot conceive or imagine what it's like. I think we should be taxed to provide adequately for those who have given their lives in service to the rest of us. I salute. xx
