This poem is dedicated to the memory of our daughter who died on November 5, 1997. She is sorely missed by her family.

Chill in the air when you were born
Warm hearts inside waited in awe,
The fourth child of the parents to be
A gift from heaven for all to see!

You came to us precious as could be
A beautiful Smile, Big brown eyes
Adored by Joe, Marcia and Sue
By parents who already loved you!

They watched you grow and mature,
And was so proud of you,
When you became a beauty Queen
Before the age of thirteen!

Beautiful bride when a mate was found
A baby girl - so like her mother,
The same sweet smile and eyes of brown
Two years later she had a brother!

As the years marched ahead,
Sad times were yet to come,
Lots of problems too much to bare,
Created by those you thought did care!

In later years you tried so hard,
To face each day with pain
Keeping silent your hurt within,
God called, you quickly went to him

The tears we shed we cannot hide
Our loss is Heaven's gain
We know our daughter is happy
And suffers no more pain!

So glad she passed away quickly. So did my husband Tom, and now I am not afraid to die either. Watching him die so easily was a great comfort to me, but first i was mad at God, then when I thought about it realized he was in no pain no more and an angel up there with God. It is so hard to lose a daughter. My oldest fought breast cancer and I was so scared of losing her but she was positive the whole way through it. She is an r.n. and knew what to expect. Now she tells others how to survive and handle it. Many come to her for advice. I am so sorry about your daughter, but so glad I could read about her. It was for a purpose, but of course you know that.

“Our Precious Daughter” sings the loss of a most beloved one and cry
happiness, for the “Precious Daughter” is celebrated in heavens.

A beautiful poem on the magic of a family’s togetherness...
“Our Precious Daughter” glows and flows to the fountain of grace.
