Something, to shiver your nerves
|
Something is coming Daddy
I hear it on the stairs
I’m all alone here Daddy
I’m really very scared!
Something is coming Daddy
I hear the door knob turn
This isn’t at all funny Daddy!
My feet are starting to burn
Why must I be in this closet Daddy?
You know I’ll never tell,
That mommy went to heaven Daddy,
falling down the well.
The ropes on my wrist are too tight Daddy
They hurt and cause me pain,
I won’t run if you cut them Daddy
You know I’m not insane.
She was a bad, bad person Daddy
She made me help with chores
She really had to die Daddy
She made me sweep the floors.
The police will soon be coming Daddy
Please let me just explain
That mommy needed killing Daddy
Because she was a pain.
You had better listen to me Daddy
‘cause if I go to jail,
eventually I will get you Daddy
and hang you from the rail!

Wow.....this is definitely a side to life that not many of us know and understand. You have captured the topic so well with your words. I'd be runnin' if I were Daddy!!
