The same and yet special!

A day in the life of mundane mom
Of sandwiches, hot-dish and dirty floors
and hockey games and Halloween
Oh my, how tired we are at times.
Still… we get to work on time most days
After spending countless sleepless nights
awaiting a childs return from a date
Or nursing a baby’s tummy ache
Mundane yes,  it is a common life.
Common to moms the world wide
Yet, to us its special and a priceless time
As babies grow and then do the same
A mundane life yes, it is common
But unique to each and every tired mom.

Aww, Sandy, this is so nice. It is a mundane life in some ways, but so rich and full of opportunities. To impact our world by the way we bring up our children is an enviable life. Children are an incomparable blessing, in spite of the work and worry they provide.
If every parent had your outlook, it would be a better world indeed!

I believe you have humbly glorified motherhood-kudos to you Sandy!!!

100% unique to every loving parent.
Hmmm, it's not quite the same the world over, to be sure.

This is so wrong. Women are the teachers', they are challenged to be harvesters and not planters. men are the planters and have reduced the harvesters to bovine indolence and ignorance - surprised at you Sandi and you also John. children do not want to be born!!!

There's nothing mundane about this life
or this poem, Sandi, a proper tribute
to the mothers of the world who do,
as far as i'm concerned, a far more noble
and important job than most of our more
advertised high profilers.
Bless you for this work.
