Living together in harmony
|
THE REASON
The cause of most unhappiness,
and frustration-- the reason we
don't win, I think,
may be the extensive
attempts to proselytize others, that
they will believe and live as we do.
Just as the main reason for many
murders, and sin is attempting to
overpower brothers,
and force them to
accept the "better way" -- the way that
they deem mandatory to reach the
higher echelon where
we all want to go.
It seems that the reason for most
friction is forgetting that we are
all free to choose
from what has been
given-- and that we are all loved
equally by our Father in heaven.

| Amen to that!!! I am a practicing Catholic, but I read about all religions and philosophies, and I really believe that it is good to make our souls and spirits grow in the understanding of each other. Great message. |

| Amen, Delma! For a period of time I taught groups of men, and groups of women in Discipleship Classes. What I taught them was that you make friends, first. Then, when that person asks you why you have such peace in these troubled times, then ... since they asked.... |

Delma,
What a perfect write. It's very special to me as my daughter and I had been at odds for month, today it ended. Perhaps we both realized your last paragraph.
