10 Ways to Mend
a Broken Heart
let wet tears wipe the
and embrace the
good time, laughs,
and unconditional love
turn on your favorite
song and belt it out
until your neighbors
come join you as you jam
wiggle your toes in your
bedroom while you giggle
on the phone with a friend
go treat yourself to a
night on the town,
a great restaurant,
movies, and your favorite
delete all memories of that
person, yes, that means, getting
ride of emails, pictures, journals
or anything that reminds you of that person; let it go, cause it's over
breath, be still and allow yourself
to meditate, as you re-center yourself, and embrace the melting of the pain
stop calling that person; emailing that person; and trying to raise the dead; when it’s over, its over!
look in the mirror and tell yourself,
“Too bad they missed out on a good thing!”and believe it, own it, and love the essence of you because you do shine and you're much better off without that dead weight of a person!

|...and don't forget, ice cream and cheesecake...always good things to allow yourself as prizes when you realize you are a unique gem and someone else is a true buffoon, never worthy of your praises or your heart!!! Excellent advice in this poem, MS.
