Creeping into my dreams.
You leave me limp, sleepless,
wet, frustrated.
I weep.
My pillow too dayum liquidfied.
I can't sleep.
Need some type of lyrical
Haunted when my lids close.
See you in my sleepless coma-like
Emotions pouring from my body
like syrup into your waiting mouth.
I beg you to give me some rest.
You got me going up and down.
Don't wanna have you do this to me.
You're drowning me with your taste.
Creeping into my dreams.
You leave me limp, sleepless and weak.
I can't take too much more of this.
I wanna get off this roller coaster,
but for some reason I cannot.
Tonight's not the day, or hour
that I can rest without hearing your
chanting my name.
I pray tonight will be the night
you will walk through the door, kiss me, and hold me.
\so I won't be haunted in my dreams.
Maybe this reality will come true one day.
Until then, I stay stuck on dangerous thoughts that float through my body
with your name spinning around and around in my head like a far gone melody that just won't stop.
