You've gotta lot of
and shame
inside your skin
you feel the sin
of it deep within
hiding in a bottle
that causes your lips
to quiver
or maybe a pipe
that you feel is your lifeline
that won't erase your sadness
that never leaves your spirit

You've gotta lot of pain
shutting out the world
you have liquid fire
coursing your veins
inhaling the essence of blue
crusted vapors that won't

Vile embers of life
stick to your ribs
darkness surrounds you
I ...wish I could tell you what to do
but I am a vessel,
not Jesus just your sister...
not the crack cocaine you
run to for salvation

I am not Jesus
and I cannot save you
You can ...take that pipe
and make a decision
to crush in your hands
let the blood of Jesus guide you

Revive your spirit
Revive the hunger of it in your spirit
Get the knowledge of the Malcolm, Tupac
and Our ancestors to build
not destroy what the devil delights in so

Take no more hits of
shits which cannot bring you up

You are a diamond...
a King...a warrior
who has taken a lot
stop the daily march towards death
with a little rock that doesn't give shit about you

I am not a savior
just your concerned sibling

I love and want the best for you
but only YOU can save
your soul

.Bill - Thank you so much!
.Karen - It's tough love time. I know that. God will bring him the comfort if he opens his heart.
.Art - Salvation is such a powerful and simple thing that we sometimes over look.

Thank you all for your words.

How sad it is to become addicted by drugs. All you can do, is to be there and offer your shoulder to cry on, and help this person get the help they need to get off this drug. This is heartfelt and shows your caring side. God bless you and your friend.

How sad that a society of so many is brought down by the smallness of a white piece of stone....Salvation begins within as so this country, this society must find also from within....Salvation...

a nice expression of this thought....through poetry...

enjoyed.....Art Sun...

Passionate and heartfelt.....I feel your pain my friend. My prayers are with those who still suffer from the demons of addiction. I send you peace and love and thank you sincerely for sharing.
