mysterious fog
blurring old oak
sagging with years of
squirrel play
drips of mist
rolling off upturned leaves
watching promising acorns
by noisy bothersome
beating trunk
into pulverized holes
to save the promises
for winter rations
hawk perches
turns regal head
sees all
knows I see him
knows all
shrugs off my life
with an opening of wings
and merging into fog
and heartbeat

What a grand view you must have! There is an ancient Indian myth that states, that when the Hawk lands near you, and looks upon you,it is a grand sighn, for the myth continues to state, that the Hawk only will gaze upon greatness and power, hence, reflecting his own, as if looking into a mirror. Grand piece Jose, reflecting your seeing eye indeed.
