In the dark
Behind my wall
I was safe
From it all

No more pain, and no more fear
You didnít see me shed my tears

All alone in my box
Till I went crazy
And smoked some rocks

Then drank whiskey
I chugged it down
Till empty bottles
Were all around

I couldnít take it anymore
I looked and looked for a door

Then came a light
Came from above
The shining light
Of your love

I clawed at the wall
Iíd made of brick
Your faith in me
Did the trick

The bricks came down
One by one
But even now
Iím not done

There is much to do
But Iíve begun
So half the battle
Has been won
