If you look in the mirror, is it yourself that you see?

I am not who I seem to be
The flowing river, the bending tree.
Even those around me seem to flee,
All because Iím simply not me.

I am not who I appear
The howling wolf, the baying deer
Even the wind would seem to fear.
For I am not the one that is here.

I am not the one you know
The sprinkling rain, the drifting snow.
So, turn around and make to go
From the one you think you know.

I am not who I seem
The angelís sigh, the devilís gleam.
Break the mirror, edges keen
And youíll find the other me.

A mere reflection of myself
The glorious dragon, the graceful elf.
Figurines upon the shelf
Donít even bother trying to help.

The Ďmeí you know is gone
The painful scream, the woeful song.
Dusk is short, Twilight is long
When you wake, youíll find me gone.
