And the Wheels Spin Again

When you make that one mistake, two beers, there's a high price to pay, after fifteen months, it's finally behind me.

Once again a legal beagle

Soaring like an eagle

Back on the road

Wheels aflame

What happened is in the past

A brighter future it will stay

Keys in hand, license on board, wheels

To spin, for

Endless road to roam, fire to tame

I saw her from across the street

Sitting there under false lights

Checked it out best I could

I’ll back in the morn to

See how you shine

Catching my heart

I could hear to engine purr

I’m yours take me for a spin

Your life should begin with

Wheels such as I these

The price was right

As she held the road ever so tight

Spun’er back in the lot

Hide her from the world, sjhe’s mine

Give me till Friday to gather

Up some dimes

There she was waiting in silence

Waiting for me,  proud owner of the keys

To turn the engine on

A relationship that will last forever

Roads to roam, fire to tame

It’s been a long time coming

Wheels are mine

Future of mountains to climb

The past is in the past

Never to be forgotten

Good things to come

With wheels like mine

I assume this is an ode to a special set of "wheels." Thanks for sharing. Love and best wishes,
