This is a story of a little bird found without a mother and those that tried to save it!

A life gone so slowly and stressful yet

Watching every breath as itís hard to get

Screaming for its mother with about every minute

Yet no sound coming out as the sun sets

No one understands how sensitive a soul

A newborn baby without even a goal

Can barely move blood pouring out

Mouth opens up and tries to shout

So young and brittle, barely a chance

To experience life and its beautiful dance

No mamma left, no one to care

But some lovely people trying to care

Barely trying to see and giving up fast

Little gray bird done had itís last

A prayer for the dying and a bit of respect

Godís given creatures are so hard to protect

Everything has a reason and its place

For their dying day we still give grace

I want to show you something...

This is nice. I always feel so sad to see an animal dead on the side of the road. Poor creatures! I swerved the other day to avoid hitting a mama goose and her five little babies...I would have been DEVASTATED if I'd hit them!
Thanks for sharing, April
