My Backyard

There was a bird in my back yard
I fed and watered it every day
I guess it like what I was serving
Cause it told all it's friends
Now the little restaurant in my backyard
Is opened night and day
There are birds in my back yard
Eating everything in sight
I don't serve any thing fancy
But they told the woodlands near and far
Now there are other creatures of nature
Dining in my backyard
Squirrels and mice are welcomed
Even that raccoon and groundhog
The deer are welcomed too
Yes, they too come and dine with me
At the feeders in my backyar.

The word spreads fast in the animal kingdom these days when a kind human soul resides among them - there are far too few of them left anymore.
Kudos to you, Georgia - for welcoming them all to your little backyard restaurant.
