It Is Enough

It is in autumn that I find myself missing not having the eyesight that allows me to see nature's beauty the most....and that thought inspried this piece in a form called tumbling tercets. Hope it is enjoyed.

It Is Enough

sometimes I have found myself
wishing for what I do not have,
the clear vision of ordinary

and perfect clarity when viewing
nature's beauty, like the flowers
of spring, the blue skies of summer,

the brilliance of rainbows, the hazy
hues of winter, stars scattered across
the night sky, and the painted

glories of sunrise and sunset...
autumn colors have me wishing again
but I will satisfy myself with the

voices of birds as they plan their
winter hiatus, the sound of leaves
drifting across browning grass

and within changing winds, the touch
of a leaf gone astray, falling into my
eager palm to be held and then released

to continue on its journey, the scent of
time as it colors the world in togs
of season, and the taste of an autumn

rain nourishing the soul
and cleansing the dust of summer...
it is enough... it must be.

Myrna,
as i've said before, and i'm not ashamed to repeat,
your vision is one of a kind, your sense of awareness
of how the world turns and the beauties it has to
offer and behold is to be admired at all times..
love the use of 'togs'... just right!

My dear, dear friend,
You may be visually impaired, but you see life more clearly, and with more beauty, than most with 20/20 vision.
Love you lots,
Marcia
