When I was young, I really thought, I'd save myself, for the exact--right--mate
After messing up, the second time, I began to believe, it just might,
be too late
But then, My precious Father, revealed unto me, That, it was just the liar, who waits, in ambush,
at the gate.
You are my son, I've called your name, He said, deep within, my soul.
I heard it, loud and clear, like the resonance, of a bell, or the sound, a golf ball, falling in the,
hole
I knew, then, that all the things, that have led me, to where I am, today
allowed me to shed, my old heart, and, learn to love, in,
His, Shining way.
So, I asked Him for a mate,
in Him, and began a year ago,
to do my best to meet a Godly woman, and to her,
His love show.
But the other part of the equation, was coming into view
She'd be my, heart's desire, so she'd, show me, His love,
too!
I wanted to believe, each and every one, I met, could,
very well, be she.
And that gave me, the knowledge, of just what she would be like, just, how she, would love me
Then you came into my life, and now, Dear1, I know, it was all worth the wait, the, ups and downs,
the, pain and tragedy.
For those, are the very things, that taught me, that:
My Father, always,
goes before.
You are, "my me" and, I love you, for what you become,
when you are with me, as well, as, the other way around.
Every day will bring us, closer to, being, together,
forever, more!
For He, will make a new one from two, and His love, WILL--
in all, the things we, do--and , all, those, that we touch,
Live and Abound.
That we might show others, the path, that leads to eternal life.
To teach, by example, to walk in His way, always;
To place, His Word, in our hearts, that we might, from it, be able to, minister, and,
powerfully, Expound!
