The old adage: "Youth is wasted on the Young" is, all about, learning to rejoice, in the present~~which requires wisdom~~which requires experience~~ which requires time~~~SO, that old adage, is surely, true . Art

When we were children, a child was often the last thing we wanted, to be Always acting older, wanting the right to reason for ourselves and from authority or control over us, to be speedily set free.
The billions of stories, of that endeavor to make one's own way is played out throughout the world, in inexplicable, unique scenarios, every minute of every, new day.
But somewhere on our growing old, journey, each of us is led to choose Between God and self as to who sits on our life's throne; with the devil in the middle, trying to to convince us God and eternity is nothing but a ruse
If we see through the lies and are, through Jesus saved and, made new We learn to discern, to choose wisdom and thru His Word we see; that becoming that innocent, obedient child again, is exactly what our Father in heaven wants us, to do.

"Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children; you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Thefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven"~~~~ Matthew 18:3-4

Nicely done, Rock! I picture a little child toddling over to his Daddy in complete trust, knowing in his child's-heart that in Daddy's arms is safety and love.
And I think that's what Jesus' love is, a refuge for the one who will rest in His arms and trust Him in all things.

| We are born innocent and defiled by worldly knowing, which is of arrogance before God, to become one with God again, as Jesus says we have to become like little children innocent again! You brought this out in nice poetic form, Best to you Rock. Jasmin Horst |
