 Old vs New

L
ove requires
honor
So you can’t blame it all
on er

Love overflows
the
brim
So, you can’t blame it all
on im!

Into ourselves sometimes we go
The other just doesn’t
please us!

It’s then we should join
our hearts and hands
And give it all in loving prayer
to the Lord and Ruler
of our lives
Our sweet Lord:
Jesus

He’ll give us back to
each other
the
new Ones He’s
still working On

As long as we turn
to His Word in prayer
we’ll surely overcome
Those selfish selves
will disappear and we’ll wonder
where in hell did they
come from?

Coll. 3:16: Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Wow, this is a great poem, Art! The ending is powerful, because of course, that's where they come from, whether we're aware of it or not.
We want so much to be New and pleasing to Him. Thank God, He keeps working on willing ones.

Connie
