Time of Chaos

Dragons of Death breathe fire once again
The Lancelets of Pain build,
Rage streaks like lightning
Rippling the Air of human speech.

The vision of body parts strewn
Pass before the Eyes tired,
Worn by too common sight;
Regenerated repetitively.

The Professional walks the ground,
Studying the broken effects
Of a Nation reeling again;
Their Youngest dying horrible.

Combat Veteran needs not description,
Witnessing before and before;
Children dying,
While only Evil delights.

Hi there Lawrence,

from destruction always comes construction
from death, rebirth. Evil, may feed on chaos, but even in that, there is order. Many good things exist and many good deeds go unnoticed. Evil is noisy. Goodness is not. Does not need the propaganda or recognition.

If our nature or essence was mostly evil, or if evil was winning territory, we wouldn't even consider saving a child from drowning --our true nature comes out, we never think of our own safety in such cases.
