Lessons from the birds..
The constant onslaught of crimes toward children in today‘s culture - including murder - brings outrage to my heart! Cries to my Heavenly Father brings back the peace..
In a very unique way.
How can you stay angry?
The LORD Himself goes before you
and will be with you;
He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

THANK YOU, GOD BLESS YOU,
FOR LOVING YOUR CHILDREN!
A Shout Out to Men!
Happy Mother’s Day to all the hurting,
single fathers out there,
Who, for one reason or another,
have had to become the “mother”.
When you look into his eyes
How can you remain aloof?
Once you've realized..
He sits atop a fatted nest
Now filled with newborn-wonder
His mate's gone off to gather food
When sounds the clap of thunder!
Even so, he stays his post
Tending to his young
Soothing them with lullabyes
He sings his father's song:
‘I will never leave you
Or forsake you to another
And though I'm not of the feminine gender
Still, I love you like.. a mother.’

|Dearest Rhonda...It's thoughtful of you to think so warmly of those men in "motherly" roles. It can't be easy for them since they were not created for that role. May I be so bold as to include "step" mothers, too; for this breed, there are no "Happy Step-Mother Day" cards.
May I suggest that the scattered layout of your poem probably expresses best the confusion some men feel in the role of motherhood! :)
Very nice write, my friend!

|Wonderful way to look at this. I work with kids in grades 11-12 I see a lot of this and it is so sad

|Hey don't worry we know how it goes at times you don't even recognize your work after you post it to the den. Who knows why it's a real pain tho, I knw first hand.
Great poem anyway the maternal instinct applies to both parents at times as does the fraternal great job Rock

|Ones mistake is a treasure in someone eyes. This looks like a tapestry of Angelic clouds with messages for all. The words are there in the sky and we just need to pray and look up to be filled with God's blessings. Well done Rhonda!

|Oh, Rhonda, this is so filled with love for the family! The beauty of a father filling the roles of father and mother together is awesome. His song to the young, taught by the Lord, is such a wonderful picture of God's love for us.
I would call for help from our support at AD if I were you. They can untangle problems that sometimes vex us in posting.
It's worth the trouble!

|I give up!
I tried posting it a third time and it's still all confused!
I'm embarrassed and very sorry.. After 'How can you stay angry?', the rest of the body of the poem is found beneath "A Shout Out To Men! and its ensuing four lines. I apologize.. and I sincerely hope it's worth the time it takes.
