To those we meet from day to day
Jesus said to his disciples,
“Love your neighbor as yourself”
This goes to the heart of Christian Principles
For the ability to love is the greatest wealth
However I ask you, my dear Brother
Know you not that love begins with you?
How can you possibly love another?
The greatest commandment to pursue
Self-love does not mean vanity or conceit
It means accepting God’s forgiveness
For the bad habits we too often repeat
When we confess our own faults and failures
We realize that God loves us anyway
We than can pass this on with greater kindness
