Flatter me, and I may not believe you. Criticize me, and I may not like you. Ignore me, and I may not forgive you. Encourage me, and I will not forget you. Love me and I may be forced to love you. William Arthur Ward

Flattery is a compliment, a praise or maybe just blarney
Criticism is disapproval or may born out of blarney
To ignore me is to overlook, snub me or pay no attention
To encourage me is to reassure me or hearten me in any situation
Now I must ask you this, my friend
Which of these are born of love?
Which of these are fostered by our God who reigns above?
Flattery and encouragement, you see are products of Jesus Christ’s love
However criticism and ignorance are too often inspired by hatred
But it is usually a loving heart which stands behind each kind word said

Ah how true are your words as they are what God asks of us, Love one another

Yes, and I have been giving out too much of the criticism and ignorance lately. We can choose, thanks for this one Lew.
Blessings,
Christine
