Can't bother to pay attention
and I really don't seem to care
so many unjust things in my life
are flat without a spare

People often wonder
what the hell makes me tick
when I shine alone in a darktimes crowd
and smile in the thick

Stuff just seems to happen
to control it all seems moot
I walk through life in some charm spell
and a bullet proof birthday suit

In my life all the lessons
the greatest one of all
It's better not to pay attention
to that old rusty wrecking ball

You just keep a keeping
and don't let it take you down
when it swings it's mighty blow
you ride it round and round

You just do a doing
don't get caught in the wrecking ball sway and when it swings it's mighty blow
just step right out of the way

So keep moving like you're moving
and never take the blow
from that old wrecking ball
you just go with the flow

People will often wonder
what the hell makes you tick
when you shine alone in a darktimes crowd and smile in the thick

Well thought out plan to survive. Though the true measure is when the ball does strike is if you get up again and again...excellent piece

Very well penned. Keep on keeping on. I can see that you are a musician as the flow here is immaculate and intune with your message.
