It all began with a night of pain,
as I watched my blood run down the drain.
She stood above me in nine inch heels,
pointed stillettos made of steel.
She stepped on my hand until it bled,
making me wince with her heel against my head.
She towered above me, with me on my back, down on the ground, high from some smack.
She grabbed my needle and stuck it in my chest, she yelled something in my face said I failed the test.
I lay there in a fog, the drug playing it's game, can't focus on nothing, not even this dame.
She said I'm a waste and a failure in life, She called me a creep, she sounded like my wife.
Yea, I didn't know her, never saw her before, but she seemed to know me right to my core.
It happened so quickly, the next thing I knew, I was thrown on her shoulder with nothing to do.
My face on her bare back and out spread a wing. This drug is crazy, I'm hallucinating.
Then all of a sudden we were up in the air, cold and forbidden the pleasure still there.
She took me up high above the slum I was in, she whispered something about living in sin.
She grabbed me and pushed me off into the sky, and yelled at me if I wanted to die?
I looked down for a moment and squeaked out a no, then started to fall into the darkness below
The city lights came at me quick and mean, the pavement, the cars, the crap in between.
She caught me and held me just above the ground, and said second chances never come around.
Take heed for your life and I'll watch after you, your soul is mine, but your body is you.
She left me laying on the wet street below, shaking it off as the drug was letting go.
This was my minute, a time for a change.
A moment of clarity, a life rearranged.
This angel, this beast, an apparition she was.
Showed me a path, and gave me a cause.
A chance that is given is not to be played, Life is too short, when death not delayed.
Take notice you all, this happened it's true .
But this Angel, this Beast might not be there for you.
