cheesy attempt here a bit out there but fun

Amarican true blue lovers

Of Apple pie and extra sharp cheddar

De Gaull declared the French ungovernable

With over 260 varieties of cheese

How could they be unified?

Robert L. Stevenson dreamed of cheese

Toasted, if you please

Fadman states that milk's leap to imortality is,

You guessed it-cheese! cheese! cheese!

And if the moon was ever made of cheese

Someone left it out and it petrified!

In Ellens world the holidays start

When the cheese logs come out

accompanied by crackers and wine

Sadly neglected by poets as Chesterton stated

Now cheesy poet Ed sets out to rectify this wrong

So here we go, Ive brought toasted brie

Cracked wheat crackers and chardonnay

A party with  poetry, wine and cheese

What could possibly be any better?

I agree with Walt - these should be published. They're great fun, and I'm sure others would truly enjoy being part of our cheese party.
